NOTE ON FLEXIBILITY:
Teachers may prefer to allocate 2 or more 45 minute sessions to this module, to allow students more time to respond online and re-watch videos. This would be particularly relevant, if additional, longer-term projects were determined as useful to consolidate and share knowledge and findings in the wider community.

ONLINE CLASSROOM TASK
BRAINSTORMING
Ask students to come up with ideas: these may include (but not be limited to):

alcohol
-
secondhand smoke from tobacco, marijuana, vaping;

medicines from the pharmacy left within a child's reach, meant for other people; too much sugar, peanuts - some are allergic to them.
Watch and discuss one (or both) of the following videos:

Topic 2 - What do I need to do to live a healthy lifestyle?
Topic 3 - Optional Activities
QUIZ - Brain & Nervous System
Arrange with the canteen or home economics to make a range of healthy, but appealing foods to share with the class.
AND / OR
Work in a team to present information about 'food that keeps us fit' OR 'Why our body needs a healthy range of foods'.
It could be a poster or a video presentation. Arrange to have it displayed in the school library or at a special school event.
