Pill testing - the debate continues.

There's no denying we need to safe guard and prevent drug use but is Pill Testing really the answer?
We say NO!

Here's why...
Testing creates a false sense of security.
Testing and classifying as 'safe' gives the impression that harm is reduced - it's not! A pill that passes the test could still be mixed with other harmful and undetected substances.
Individuals all react differently, allergic reactions can occur. Just because it's 'safe' for one person doesn't mean it is for another.
Tests can be innacurate and limited in their abiltity to tell how much of a substance is present. This means they can't assess an overdose risk.
Dealers might use pill-testing services to promote their products with a 'certified' quality turning it into a marketing tool.
Testing actually, perhaps inadvertently, gives ‘permission’ for people to carry these illegal substances. This in itself indicates a perceived ‘lack of harm’.
There is NO guarantee of safety even with testing - drugs are still drugs - mind altering substances that have the potential to cause harm and unfortunately for some - death.
That's why we say NO to pill testing!
